Min Ida Nell Stepney

Minister Ida Nell Stepney has been married for over 50 years and is the proud mother of 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.  She has been a member of the church since 1982. She is the eldest daughter of the late Deacon Kerr, who at age 99, was the longest living member of the CHSC organization.  The Kerr family has a long standing history with the organization.

Minister Nell has worked over 20 years for GTE/Verizon.  She attended Temple Junior College and Prairie View A&M.  She has also served the church in the areas of finance, administration, worship, choir, teaching, missions and hospitality.
